EPIZOTAN ALS

EPIZOTAN ALS is an aluminum tanning agent which can be used for all types of leather.

Typical properties
Appearance:	White powder
Nature	Pure crystallized aluminum tri-formate
Solubility	Soluble in cold & hot water
PH( 1: 10 solution)	approx. 4
Stability	Precipitation occurs above PH 4,5 compatible with mineral tanning agents; limited compatibility with anionic tanning agents and dyestuffs
Storage Conditions:	Store in a cool, dry, well- ventilated area (15 – 25 °C), out of direct sunlight.
Packing:	25 Kg PE bags

APPLICATION

EPIZOTAN ALS can be used in production of white leathers, fixing dyestuffs and increasing dyeing brilliance.

It also improves nubuck and suede due to good buffability.

When EPIZOTAN ALS is used in combination with chrome tanning agents in the main tannage, the resultant leather will have a very light colour and a very fine flat grain.

-In the retanning based on the shaved weight: …………..1-3 % EPIZOTAN ALS

-For increasing the shade of color after the fixation with acid…………….0.3-1 %EPIZOTAN ALS

-For fixation of hydrophobing agents ……………………………………………2-3 % EPIZOTAN ALS
